Drawing

Drawing and cognition

We All Draw - Thinking Through Drawing - International Symposium London, 2015

The magic of drawing is its power to form conversations between interior life and the outside world. Drawing processes stuff at some deep level:  it can mediate thinking, feeling, and observations. Through deliberation and mark-making, ideas come to the surface.  I’m interested in how drawing allows unconscious personal narratives to emerge, no matter what the original intended subject matter.

2014-2019 Based in Geneva, Switzerland. I joined the Drawing Research Network and attended workshops and conferences to further my knowledge on current practice in Arts based research and Drawing and Cogniton.

My work has articulating the experience of dislocation, including making art inside the nonspace of longhaul airline travel.
